finally got access to google page creator.. im not that impressed.
may be coz i am more into the hand coding. the page creator give basic
functionality to create simple web pages and publish then to web with .googlepages.com
web identity anyone??
Finally something that i wishes for. A chat history. actually a lot better than the chat history of MSN and Yahoo. the chat history is stored in your Gmail account. Also coming soon chat in gmail.. online chat!

The best feature is the bookmarks. Previously Google had a bookmarks feature. buit to bookmark you had to search for it and then go into search history to bookmark it. Now “Click”!

What are these guys upto!
here are two new things they have launched in the past few days!
1) Google Talk: IM and Voice Chat
Its really light weight and really user friendly.. I have already uninstalled yahoo and MSN
2) Google Desktop Search 2
This one is the second generation desktop search software with the added sidebar feature which looks like the longhorn sidebar. its nice. But i was never really that great fan of the desktop search. i uninstalled the desktop search feature long back and the difference in performance of my windows was amazing.. but its worth a look.
Yup! Its out.. and I’m excited. Good news for me is - IM A BETA TESTER FOR IT!
eeeee ho!! Ya i have a limited one year license of Microsoft Windows One Care (1PC) FREE!!
I am a Norton guy for the past - what - five years now.. The Antivirus and the Internet Security stuff is good. Lot of feature to be proud of but there are things that i dont like about it.
- It is so damn fucking slow! it kills your resources.
- It is an costly affair.
So I’m really excited about seeing what Windows One Care has to offer me. Till now i noticed the following things ’bout it..
- The UI is consistent with Microsoft products and its good
- Antivirus works just like Norton.. cos it atleast detected the same macros and jars as Trojans :) i’ve harbouring for ages
- Firewall Integrated with Windows Firewall
- Added Back up and Restore utility which is supposedly good. (haven’t tested it out yet though)
- considerably LOWER on resources..

Gosh! I uninstalled the Norton and believe it or not the Laptop boots up in half the time!
Will keep you guys updated!
Look at it as job security. after microsoft acknowledged that they are having compatibility issues with .Net 1.1 to .Net 2.0, Windows Developers are not worried.
