Is it just me or is the theme getting a little too old for the site?? :)
I always do this – spend ages creating a custom theme just for my site and then get bored of it too quickly.. I’ll probably create a new theme and release this theme for downloads.. let me hear a shout out if you want a early release of the theme.
With a new web2.0 application starting up, there are so many invites lying around that its hard to keep track of. I get these invites from people i don’t even know. But I appreciate that. I love trying out new application. I have used every single application for which I received an invite for. I rarely get addicted to any of them, but its nice to see whats up.
I have a few invites for Pownce and Joost. drop a comment on the post and I’ll send one towards you.
Had a wonderful trip back to India and back in US. Although the jetlag hasn’t yet passed me by, I’m getting over it.

I was Googling ‘google’ everywhere. I came to ask.com and this is what i got.
The results show the title of www.google.com as Top 25 Censored Stories of 2007. Is Ask.com trying to make a point about google and censorship?? or have they actually been able to predict the future??
What should we make of this?? :)

finally i got my self to do the photos thing on my site.. i wrote a small plugin to bring all the photos from flickr into my site over today’s lunch.. fruitful huh?
its basically a wrapper over the flickr api and phpflickr to bring and present it in the hemingway theme.. also it has a random flickr generator which I used on the frontpage. this shows random images from flickr account.
any thoughts?
Today during my drive to office, I saw the Baltimore’s Finest at their finest~
I was cruising on I-70 going onto exit to 695. I remember there were very few cars on the freeway and the closest behind me was about 1/2 a mile behind me when a jackass cut me off and left me swirling on the lane. I took the opportunity to honk my horn – which I hadn’t since I came back from India. I was so pissed off I thought of calling the cops on him. But then I realised I better get hold of my car before that. I looked in the rear view mirror and saw the car which was 1/2 a mile behind just sped towards me. I was taking the exit just as the jackass who cut me off. I was thinking about what I could do to get even when the car behind me overtook me from the the wrong side through the emergency side parking lane. I was just thinking whats up with all these people today when I saw the Red and Blue siren on the back of this car overtaking me!
Detective’s Car!! He pulled the jackass right over and I assume he got what he rightfully deserved. I had never seen justice being served so quickly!

Yesterday I was talking to a friend about what I do in my spare time. I do some work for my brother who is Entrepreneur/Technology Evangelist. He was impressed by the work my brother and his team do in India.
It got us thinking what is our whole purpose in life. Is it just to work 8 hour a day; earn enough money for comfort and then get through the life span? I would like to make a difference to my life. Do something which I can say look I did this. it can be as trivial as creating a small tool to doing something in return for the society. And both of us agreed it would be nice to go back to India and Ukraine (he’s from Ukraine) and do something there. There is a lot of potential back in India we can do to develop.
Then today morning there was an article on NPR on Sam Singh, one of the top executives of Dupont, who went back to India to setup a school for girls in his native place. And also immediately after that there was a commentary by Sandip Roy on India and its globalization.
I would love to go back to India. Take up a job which would pay for my stuff and also spare me some time and money to do something like that. but its hard to imagine when would that time come along with the current life I am living in.
Oh well, just a thought.
